BLOOM was born in the quiet pursuit of space. A need to flourish amidst the noise.
It began in Porto, but its soul was found in the mist of ancestral Japanese plantations. We didn't just find tea; we found an invitation to slow down.
We believe life only reveals its true texture when we stop to observe it. It is in that intentional silence that we appreciate the beauty of the imperfect and the grace of the impermanent—the very essence of being alive.
Matcha is more than a ritual; it is a homecoming. A sacred green powder with the quiet power to realign us. To remind us that slowing down is not an escape, but a productive act of care.
Matcha, in its pure form, appeared on our life when travelling Asia, and in that moment we knew it had the power to make us live as we should. Slowly. With intention.

咲く is read Saku in Japanese. And it means to bloom.
In Japan, blooming is not something you rush.
Flowers wait for the perfect moment to bloom where their Ki (energy) is in harmony.

Name & Logo
BLOOM refers to a flower opening, a plant producing flowers. As a verb, it means to flourish, glow, or yield flowers.
For us it is the transition from existing to belonging. To bloom is not just to open—it is to arrive, breathless and inevitable, at your most vivid truth.
The simples works. We said it before and we say it again. The simplicity of our logo reflects the purity of our matcha. We want to reflect that in our logo, and there's no better way to do that than to just write it. Minimal by design, intentional by nature. Simply Bloom.

If the simple works, why is our B different? Born in Portugal, near the sea, we wanted to let our origin to have a place in our brand, without losing our identity. That's why our B is different, like a wave forming up and crushing in the sand. It makes it imperfect while at the same time perfect, just like life itself.

Deep Bordeaux
This is our pulse. It’s a color that carries the weight of history—reminiscent of the aged wines of our Portuguese heritage and the lacquered wood of a quiet Japanese tea house. It’s a sophisticated, grounded hue that represents the intensity of life and the richness of the earth. It is the shadow that allows the light to exist; a bold, velvety foundation that speaks of elegance without effort.
Ceremony Cream
If the Bordeaux is our pulse, this is our breath. Inspired by the texture of handmade Washi paper and the soft tint of raw silk, this cream is our space for clarity. It represents the calm of the morning and the steam rising from a freshly whisked bowl. It’s not a stark white, but a living, breathing tone that invites you to slow down and find your own rhythm.
